Hi, thanks very much for info will defo check the key's, was looking for the earlier one's 1999 region which should be a bit cheaper, so sport is best then for enthusiastic driving, do like the frimer feel on suspension, what sort of gain would be from a supercharger, I've had turbo's before but never a supercharger any + sides to it cheers mate

Hi all, I'm looking for an is200 or altezza so would like some tips on getting one, what's the difference in the model spec (like sport and se) which one would be better? also is there any known problems and is the top mount near the airbox suppost to be lower than the other side and what to look out for in terms of rust if there is any or where it starts off so you know to walk away, anyone have any experience with the altezza's any difference between them apart from the beams engine and what is the triptronic like with the buttons on the wheel,got about 3k +/- to buy one but want a good solid one with no rust and problems so I can get about getting it the way I want B) thanks for any and all help B)

Thanks for the info thats a great help, loads of info on this forum links to spec lists I have a celica gt 1994 with the 3s-ge engine, has the altezza this same engine (redefined with the vvti) whats the handling like on them as they have double wishbone suspension back and front so they should handle like their on rails, being a vvti what are they like to ovetake with, what are they like day to day driving and have the 1998 models got traction control?

Hi, first of all I haven't an altezza yet but am looking at the rs2000, the first question I have isn't this car a lexus is200 but made buy toyota? what sort of spec do the altezza rs2000 manual have performance compared to the is200 as these with a 2.0 ltr are slow, how would I go about getting parts/servicing would they be lexus parts, what is a good price for a 1998 / R reg, White, 6 speed manual, 56000 Miles, and most important is whats the insurance group are they? thanks for any replies I get Oh and are they rear wheel drive?
