I know it a 3.0l V6 pulling a big unit , but ive been REALLY carefull with the right foot. Ive down grading in cost of car and got more space , before the RX i had a 07 plate Audi S3 , and i give it some stick and still returned 22mpg , granted it was only a 2.0l turbo , but remapped to 320 bhp and i wasn't afraid to use it!

As above really , whats your average mpg. mine seems to be somewhere between 17.8 - 19mpg around town , with a touch of motorway thrown in. It's pretty bad going really , as i have been very carefull not to be to heavy with the right foot! Thanks

Picked up my Mk1 RX300 SE , 2001 last week and i'm very happy with it. Ive had the rear parking sensors fitted Mk2 wheels Scuff plate for the back bumper Clear side repeators Parrot CK3100 ( on Monday ) I do have one problem with the car though , and thats the look of the rear lights ( nasty/chav things imho ) I take it the MK 2 rear lights won't fit? Did they face lift the MK1 rear lights at any stage? Has anybody changed there MK1 rear lights to something a little less " Lexus " Has anybody put some tinting film on them to tone them down a little? Sorry for all the questions , i love the car , but not the rear lights Thanks

Somebody must know what the recommended Tyre pressure is for a MK 2 18" with std 235/55/18 tyres? What does it say in the owners manual? Thanks

Also what is the std ( recomended ) PSI for a 18" wheel on a mk2? Thanks

Right so ive bought them , 5 wheels with 235/55 tyres ( spare needs a refurb other wise MINT with decent tread on the tyres ) £300 1 - Will the bolts from the mk1 wheels fit ( no bolts with the wheels ) or will i need to buy new ones? if i do , what size do i need ? 2 - How much will my speedo be out by? i have the 17's on at the mo. Thanks .1. Yes the bolts will fit and are indeed the correct fitment. .2. Probably by about 3-4 mph....indicated lower than your actual true speed. Thanks I was not aware you could get 17" as an option from new on the RX Mk1 in the UK.....so cannot answer that I am afraid. Std Tyre with 17's is 225 60 17 , new tyre with 18's 235 55 18 so my speedo is 2% out 60mph is 61.2mph. i'll check it with the sat nav also. Thanks

Will they fit a 2001 mk1? is it a sraight fit? , no spacers? Thanks

No , i really do think it's a uk car ( not picked it up yet ) , i just hope it's not a bit slow for me ( downgrading cost / performance for more space at a cheap price ) coming from a 07 plate Audi S3. Thanks

Hiya just a couple of questions please. 1 - Has anybody got the OEM lowering springs for the MK1? any info / pics would be great. 2 - Has the MK1 got a electronic tailgate? 3 - Has anybody uprated the bulbs for a more Xenon look type of bulb? info and PT No would be great. 4 - Has anybody changed the dated orange ride repeaters for clear ones? info and PT No would be great Thanks

Hiya Ive just put a deposit on a 51 plate RX 300 se with 54 k on the clock , in the advert sat nav wasn't inc in the spec , but when i got there it looks like sat nav is in it. I pressed the DEST button and a message came back saying something like " link not conected " ( sorry i can't remember it ) What does this mean? how do i fix it ? Thanks
