i know that problem... it must be the HT cables,need replacing.cables that connect to the spark plug.happens when they are worn out causing misfiring.last resort if you changed everything else.the problem you cant know if they are faulty or test them.had the same problem changed them n no issues since

its normal.its called a cold start.latest cars are better you just drive off without heating the engine 1st.you find out the 2nd gear is usually difficult to engage

Was quoted £370.I prefared to buy a good brand for 110 bargain on eBay so it's just labour.it's frustrating cant even overtake.

actually did that my revs were bout 4000 doing about 40mph in 5th gear.ive already bought the kit for replacement. will arrive on tuesday will take it in on Wednesday.feeling sorry for the car really. will post again when fixed.

hie guys!!! so i got a 72k mile is200 today in Birmingham and me being stupid i ddnt test drive the but had the engine started and all.everything looked perfect.it was a bargain though.so as i drove like 2 mins later i noticed my clutch might have been slipping.could have taken the car back but i figured it wont cost much to sort it out.my gear lever was shaking as well,but the odd thing i seemed not to be moving fast at maybe 60mhp@ 3500revs.i did not smell any burning of the clutch, so i decided to stick to 3000revs till i got home.slowest drives of my life. lol. before i order a clutch kit is it possible it could be something else or its definitely it.i dont want to order a clutch kit and realise the one there was still ok...i also noticed i could make a turn in the 5th gear and not choke. if any of u guys could drive in the 6th gear at 60mph could you tell me how much revs you do. thanks for feedback in advance

i suggest u have your valve clearance checked. if yor car has more than 80-100k miles just have it checked it myt be e reason

maybe theres no bulb that lits up when u press.check

there are two tanks.left and right under rear seat.just look under e car youl c them

hi check yo discs. normally when you brake it wobbles.you myt think there are ok but not.just place yo hand n feel if there are ridges or ripples.if there are thats e calprit. im a mechanic.

u shld know evrythng u do to is200 oil change affects the system.pulling out cables etc.anythng tht affects engine perfomance turns that light on. well the other day i thot let me check my air filter and realised its 1 of those japaneese filters.it was filled with dirt n all torn apart so i put it back n said id buy a new 1 the following day.i did start the car without the filter on n my light came on.so it meant too much air in the engine.so nw i had e light cum on n obviously i knew wat e prob was.replaced it reset my fuses n walla it hasnt cum bk on. so u might need to check your air filter if its filled up with dirt.

its not the window but its like wen u go from 1 to 2 2-3 3-4......at high speed theres no sound/..... thanks anywhere

ive got an is200 n ive realised/noticed a whstling not rattling jus a funny sound when acceralating...ive actually revved up with bonnet open n looks like inside timing covers.not sure.the outside drive belts seems to be ok no noise at all.im not sure where the noise is coming from any1 ever had this...........is it possible 2 have look at the belt before i regret.i like noticed the camshaft cover can be removed.id rather park the car n risk losing it. advice plz

dont worry make i suppose yo gearbox is ok.i agree with e other who mentioned bout quick change of gears in cold conditions.every manual car does tht especially wen u hit 50000k above.

use the thinner 1,,,,0w/40 thts wat i use

hie. there are 3 things you need to know. the type of oil. valve clearance. oil pump wearing out. if the type of oil you are using is too thick that might be an issue.when u start yo car oil has 2 rise to yo tappets that control valves.now if oil does not reach there fast u myt hear a noise because theres lack of oil. when oil heats up it becomes smoother thats wen u u hear e moise going.i suggest u buy yo own oil i use mobil1 0w/40.garages tend to use cheap oil n charge u more.there oil may last up 5000miles yet mobil1 lasts 10000miles.buy yo own staff if yu cant do it let e garage charge yu labour only. valve clearance does make noise as yo car get older meaning u myt need retuning yo car if pehaps u got 75-100k miles on yo lexus.remember oil type does affect durabilty of y car. oil pumps dont usually die unless theres a blockage to stop oil from circulating.u never know. i service my own car...keeps m away from gng bk 2 them.
