my exhaust is still the original one have no idea how it has lasted

mines a 2000 on 164000 had it eight years and all i have done is serviced it myself every 6000 just thinking of getting new exhaust as its getting rather rusty cus of this winter but still runs smooth as silk my plan is to run it til fuel gets too much lol

its not a respray issue as my car its still all original panels only thing i can think it is that the laquer has slightly degraded as the boot has a flat surface where water sits and then the water droplets amplify the solar heat/ uv which when you feel the silver car when hot is hot so i think its down to the age of the car and the waterbase paints that they use now

this has happened when it has water droplets on the panel then the sun heats up metalic paint on the panel at different levels dont think it can be cured it has happened to me ever since i have owned my car which is about seven years now and it dosent last may be an hour until panel has got even temp i know its fustrating but in the summer i wash my car in the evening to reduce this happening but can be caused by dew as well. i know you shock when you first see it but it never has caused my paint to fall off or damaged it, it just makes you mad

mine is silver and i think it looks good on harleys or Autoglym hd wax but i can tell you had my car a few years and silver is hard colour to make pop so getting a wet look will make reflections better giving a nice look esp in afternoon and night

i have found that harly wax works best for my silver lex normally use autoglm srp then harly wax after

Mine kicks in at about 4000rpm the best way to find out for your self is put it 3rd gearwhen doing about 20 mphand then put youf foot to the floor when

it gets to about 4000rpm you will feel a little jolt and then it starts to shift

I had a similar problem with lighter not working and changed fuses etc and in the end found out thatit was the two clips inside the lighter at the bottom, these after a while just bend themselves out just enough not to contact the phone charger ,so got a tiny screwdriver and bent them not to much to the middle and it seems to work fine now.

Not saying this is you problem but it might be so hope it helps

Its only the auto and i think its the window lock button that lights up so its onlt two buttons on that whole panel that lights and iam sure that most people dont notice them because they are dull .

And plus after a while you will get a automatic feel to where they are.

Been out again today and found it a bit easier to turn off trc with snow control on than to drive with it all on.

Sound like if the door wont open you will have to take to lexus as to get panel off you need to have door open to undo the screws holding door card on

Iam sorry if i have scared people but for those people who were thinking about getting a newer or new car next year like the is 250 you could have a shock when going to tax it.

Mate my point is why should we pay more so some people pay nothing when they still have four wheels same as us , pherhaps its just me but i find it a rip off

Just found out my tax is due and went on dvla site to find out how much need to pay at the end of the month and guess what at the end of april for those of you got cars regestered after april 2001 you tax could increase up to £1000 depending on age and co2 .

I think this takes the **** now we paying for every one else with hair dryers to get in the way for free , where i live there is hills and my car no probs vs fiat 500 going flat out using lots of fuel ,cant see that out of the town these small cars are eco friendly i think scrap tax and add it to the fuel then the more you use then you would pay right amount , sorry to have a winge put it makes me mad.

Ecsta SPT KU31 very good alround performer and like i said they wear good and grip as well as you can wish from a tyre , fitted and balanced for four tyres cost £266.52 cant moan at that like i said they were fitted over a year ago and still got good tread

the thing i like about my lex is i havn't been pulled over by the police every month when driving around in the morning (about 3ish) at the end of my shift lol

as for putting in extras like hid's arm rests to me thats part of the fun and the power i must be lucky i know its not a ferrari on 0 to 60 but i does it about 8.5 secs not bad for size and weight of a whale and i get a boost of power that you can feel at about 3200 rpm when dropped into 4th or 3rd when over taking quickly (mine is manual not auto which could be gear ratios poss) .

the only bad point i think is cost of some parts even when you use gold mebership card

i'm not scared of driving in the snow .... just of eveyone else driving in the snow around me. so just drive slow and safe as you can cuz for some people this will be there first time driving in snow and for some that dont care if they wreck there car but most of all especially where i live the old blind person, that cant see over the stearing wheel,

khumo is my tyre of choice when i brought my car most of the tyres were shot as i just shelled out for car i was on a tight budget my self so i got khumo put on this was a year and four mounths ago and they still got good tread left on them and got to admit was peed off at first that i could not get better ones but have been very suprised at the performance and handeling of these tyres even in last years snow and my friend put them on his audi and likes them too.

but if you are buying four tyres most places will do you a good deal so its worth asking for pices on sets of four cuz you might be able to get a better set of tyers than you think

Mate there is one on eBay put in trd bumper and there is one new and compete with mesh and fogs for 233 not sure if copy but looks good

I am happy and cant wait to use it i got an electric polisher with different heads and got six speeds also some harleys pure yellow carnauba wax just hope car comes out looking as good as i hope but think i will leave doing it for a week or to to much salt on the road

Well i got me shammy and wipe the back window clean then used auto glm glass polish also when i done it i left my boot open just to air it this was last thursday touch wood this has seemed to keep the back window clear so dont really know what it was or just the change in the weather

At the mo having problems with condensation in the back window and was wondering if anyone has or has had the problem and cured it and its annoying me

dropped my car in my local garage for diff oil gear box oil change and decided to get engine oil changed he asked any preference in oil used and i got millers like i have used for the last 4 yrs had to come back after dinner in order for him to get the oil witch i thought was quick service went back and waited one hour and it was done thought that was about right for time then the bill £96 pounds witch i thought was good
