  1. Mate i thought the same when i got mine and my dad did say that there is two problems with that way if tape or glue gets hot or wet it would come off at speed and it would be easy for it to be stolen . So i got rid of plastic lugs but kept the two bolts and but atiny bit of sealant around the edge. This has worked well for me and i only drilled three small holes in the boot lid.

  2. mine failed mot last week on lower ball joints as i had play in mine esp around corners . had both sides replaced as a matter of course. i would go back when they really busy and have a fit as they should have checked it .

if you get no joy from them dont tell them you are going to complain to vosa .

glad to know that you ok mate as it could have been worse

  3. You should be using tyres with a 25 tyre wall or else you speedo will be a little slow so i would go for 235/25/19 or 225/25/19 . It works something like this standard wheels are 215/45/17 so if wheel goes up a wheel size to 18 the tyre wall must drop a inch to 35 tyre wall with no work just a swop of wheels and tyres but if going for 20 inch wheels you will need to have work done to speedo and arches and possibly bump stop on springs .

    Hope this helps

  4. hi guys.

can anyone tell me the easiest wat to remove my radio/cd player from my is200

    cheers

    Yes will try and explain!

First just pull the heated seat/trc switches outbuy putting your hand underneath and pull the tray twords youand they shouldjust come out. Then cover a flat head screwdriver so not to scratch then use it to put under air vent tray and just pop it up and that should come away. You should see two screws heads at top and two at the bottom undo them and the stereo and blower controls will come out together. Thenjust two screws at the sidescto part them.

    Hope that helps

  5. Not to worry now,

have spent all day and finally managed to sort it

it was mainly the crash senser at the bottom of the crash bar

    now looks awsome B)

will post pics as soon as we have another nice sunny day for me to take some good photos

    cheers for all your help

  6. Already tried that and it's still not fitting!!! the screws on the top of the bottom grill seem to be hitting the bar stopping it from going in!

thinking might have american size crash bar even though car isn't an import as cant think of any other reason why it wont fit
