  1. Not really but they offered £13k for my part-ex which is the lowest offer from any dealer. My two favourites at the moment are offering £16k for my part-ex. So I won't be dealing with Woodford! Where did you see your 08 SE-L? Cheers Gerry
  2. Hi, I believe the RX 400h Limited Edition comes with..... Perforated leather upholstery Heated, electrically adjustable front seats 18-inch alloy wheels 40/20/40 folding rear seat Climate control Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS) with high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps and cleaners Electrochromic auto-dimming rear view mirrors Cruise control Rear privacy glass Boot protector Rear bumper protector Multimedia system with seven-inch VGA display, satellite navigation, Mark Levinson 11-speaker premium hifi, rear park assist monitor and Bluetooth The features that the SE-L has that the LE doesn't include:- Electric tilt and slide sunroof Electrically adjustable steering wheel Memory settings for the driver's seat, steering wheel and door mirrors Rain-sensing windscreen wipers Entry lighting system Power tailgate I am sure others will be able to add further information. Where did you see the 08 SE-L? Is that the one at Lexus Woodford? Cheers Gerry
  3. Very helpful, thnks Phil. Hatfield is one of the dealers I am going to visit so good to hear they come with a recommendation from a LOC member. I think I'll try for the fuel bumpe protectore nd boot liner! They have offered 3 years servicing for £1k, they reckon it would normally cost £1.4k Cheers Gerry
  4. Sorry, just to add that I have a Glass's guide report done on these cars and all are well under the recommended price guide. How do I tell if the price is too high, they seem about right relative to other cars on Lexus.com? Thanks Gerry
  5. Those prices look a little high to me ! First off, do you really need an SE-L ? All you get over a late model SE is front headrest monitors and dvd player + air suspension. You can get the former by going for a SE ICE model. I opted for a 350, but when I was looking for a 400h I got offered two 2008 SE's, both with under 30K on the clock and each one was under £23,000. These were from Lexus Newcastle - Steve Humble is the guy to talk to. Cheers mate, the reason they look high is probably because they have over-allowed on my part-ex (GS 450h). Most traders were offering £13.5k to £15k. The above cars come with a £16k trade-in allowance. I don't need an SE-L at all, just choosing a few cars that were near to me that happen to be the top model. Thanks Gerry
  6. I am looking at the 3 cars below. At first glance the newest car seems the best deal. But what if my first requirement was to get the monthly payment figure as low as possible? Just wonder what one you guys would go for and why? 7. I have just purchased a year old GS450h. The Lexus dealers were an absolute waste of time (for me). If I wanted one at a decent price (and within the Glass's guide guidelines) then I had no option but to go to and independant dealer. I saved about £4k and of course, I still have the Lexus warranty, so I don't really see where Lexus have an advantage. I know the situation is different for the OP as he does not really have a choice on where he sources a new one from, but just trying to highlight it is not just new cars they don't like to deal on. The amazing thing is, I thought there was a recession on and that they would be 'gagging' for my business. Gerry
  8. Vic, sorry mate, I know nothing about the Motorola. Where in Kent are you, I might be able to pop over and try and help. I am by the Dartford tunnel on the Essex side but always visiting family in North West Kent. Cheers Gerry
  9. Flipchart, what make/model of mobile device do you have? If it is a Blackberry then I might be able to help. I have spent bloody ages trying to get mine working and finally sussed it! Cheers Gerry
