  1. No need for tyres, the rubber I have is in perfect nick anyway. Whats the going rate for these atm anyway? London based is preferable to avoid excessive postage costs. TIA J

    Hiya!

Probably both. But I am as good as a completely different person to the one I was 6 years ago, slightly more refined yet worn out. Today has been fun tho. Retrimmed the headrests, got the console stripped, started to get near finishing then it was birthday party time for my lil boy. Tomorrow will see the end of phase 1 of 5. Will get some pics taken tomorrow of where I am at the moment, and then you can all see my stealthy stock install (or lack thereof) and the rejuvenation of a neglected car body shell. :)

    Hiya!

Hi, Just joined up, seems like a really good resource for all things lexusy. Just got my 2nd Lexus, I had an IS200 about 6 years ago, and got so fed up with all the other cars I had, I got another IS200. The current one is an 02 plate, in metallic Green, and is totally stock (at the moment). Courtesy of a wonderful little online store, I just got 2 5.8" screens and a DVD player. Headrests are already mounted, just got to cable up the car now. How in the name of zeus's butthole do you get the centre console out of these damn things. The old one was far easier, there is a poxy armrest in the way on this model which I cant get out. Anyways, I have an Alpine IVA C800, nav, DVD changer, TV tuner all coming this weekend, which will be a fun day of installation. I have already fitted a funky little alarm with remote start, so nice and secure. Last thing I have to do after that is get the rims recon'd, as the previous owner did not take care of them in the slightest, then I will attack it with a machine polisher and some TLC. Then I think I may leave this one alone, I think I went a little far on my old one......... Nice to see you all again. Cheers
