i think i will run the camera from the rear lights that seems the best option but i'd rather run the headunit from the front if i can saves me running an extra wire! il give it another go. cheers

hey guys, I am trying to install a reverse camera to my '51 plate is200 sport, with a pioneer avh3200bt head unit. I have semi located the wire in the passengers footwell as per other topics and i have searched the hell out of it but i cant find an answer why when i stick a multimeter across the plug in question in reverse and neutral, i get no continuity with the gear in reverse and continuity in neutral?, shouldnt it be the other way round?, surely with no signal to the h/u it would be normal and with a signal it would display reverse?. im starting to think about running the cable from the reverse lights because its really confusing me now i would really appreciate some light on the subject. Thanks!
