  1. Thnaks for the reply. Looking on ebay, the only lip spoilers I can find are ones from Taiwan that need to be sprayed and then just stick on to the boot i.e. no screws or bolts. They're not that expensive but I'm wondering has anyone bought one of these before - what kind of quality are they? Do they look OK?
  2. Hi, I have a 2003 Lexus IS200 Sports. I'm in Dublin but the car came from the UK originally. Thanks to some friendly local vandals I'm looking for a passenger side wing mirror and a lip-type spoiler for the boot (hope you know what I mean, if not I can post a photo). I've actually already bought a replacement wing mirror but the model number differed slightly from the original and, while the new mirror fits to the car, the plug on the new mirror is a different shape from the plug socket in the door so I have a mirror attached to the door but the electrics aren't connected. I can post the model number of my original mirror or send a photo of the plug if that helps. As stated above I'm also looking for a lip-type spoiler for the boot. If I can't find one I'm thinking of filling the holes in the boot and spraying over them - anyone know if this is a big job? Thanks.
  3. Hi, I've posted this in the Wanted forum http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...showtopic=59510 but it's probably more relavent to this forum.. My wing mirror needs replacing on my 2003 IS200. I'm wondering if I buy a new mirror that's a different colour from the existing one, is it possible / difficult to replace the backing / casing on the replacement mirror with the one from the old mirror? Thanks.
  4. Hi, following on from this, does anyone know if I buy a wing mirror of a different colour, would it be difficult to replace the backing (is that the right word? the coloured part) on the replacement with the backing from the old mirror?
  5. No LED - not that I've noticed anyway and I imagine it's the kind of thing you'd notice! I've only had the car a few months by the way.
  6. Hi Steviewevie. No, I don't think it's electrochromic. According to wikipedia they only introduced electrochromic mirrors in 2006 models on (mine's a 2003). I think it's a standard electric, heated mirror. I've photos attached, can you tell by looking at it? Incidentally, as you can see from the photos it's only one part that's snapped. It seems I have to get a whole new mirror, not just the part that has snapped - is that right?
  7. yep, there are 1 or 2 wing mirrors there but not in the right colour
  8. Hi, Thanks to a local vandal I'm in search of a passenger side wing mirror for an IS200 (2003 reg). It's a kind of silver / platinum colour (I can post a photo if necessary). I've been to a Toyota garage and they're looking for €400+ to suppply and fit a new one, crazy money. Hope someone can help.
