Hi guys.

Just a quick question. When you press the sunroof button it goes back and stops, yet if you press it again it goes back a further say 4 inches. Why is this anyone know?

FYI my car is standard on standard wheels

When I had warped discs I could only feel it through the steering wheel not the peddle, but saying that only my fronts were warped.

Could be the bushes on the lower wishbone getting a bit knackerd.

O and I got EBC turbo grooved disc with redstuff pads and they are very good brakes been on three trackdays and no fade. They are cheaper than the lexus milk bottle tops aswell :D

So than who has purchased winter tyres this year? Do they only help in snow or do they help with all the rain and cold temperatures and general lack of grip in the winter?

Can anyone recommend a good set?

I haven't this year but i will most likely get some next year

I find the IS200 very predictable and easy to manage. Everytime the back has come a-drift I have cought it before the TRC.

Just a quick tip, insurance companies read forums to help them in cases, come up with evidence, and generally nosey around.

I would certainly not start a post about your crash, or about mods that are not declared, also pictures of crashes or tips on how to commit insurance fraud.

Thats just me though. I wish you all the luck with your claim and future insurance.

I am 18 and have two years no claims bonus and pay £1100. I am also able to drive any other vehicle with the drivers consent.

Hahaha love it. I must say my wet roundabout technique is coming on nicely. So few cars now are RWD compared with Ten years ago. Actually one of the main reasons I bought the thing.

The first owner of my lexus had the number plate L3 XUS on it. I was just wondering whether anyone on this forum owns the plate or the used to own the car.

Just got back from the 'ring. The brakes are awesome after 3 laps one after another and they never faded once and the brake peddle remained hard and positive. I would seriously recommend them to anyone. Shop around to make sure you get them at a good price as they are loads out their asking silly money.

Green stuff - light cars, generally lower power.

Red stuff - heavier cars and more powerful cars. (I have these 'cos the lexus is200 is a lardy old girl)

Dont know about black.

So far the EBC brake set up is brilliant. I am off to the nurburgring on thursday so I will give them a proper work out than. :D

I have just fitted EBC redstuff pads and turbo grooved discs. I have only done 10miles on them so far and they seem ok need to give a bit longer before I really see how they preform. I got mine of eBay from a company called Larkspeep. They quick delivery and good customer survice.

I will update on how the brakes are doing after they have done a couple of hundred miles.

Just bought them now - for better or worse.

Need to find out how they will effect my warranty, else I'll have to stick them in the loft or sell them on . . .

If you find out could you let me know as I would love a set but I am worried they will void my warranty.

Definitely going for the turbo discs and red pads. Will post pics when I get them.
