  1. Hey guys, I just recently bought a 2003 IS300 with 145k km. Everything has been great with the car so far except for the transmission. Whenever I shift from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd, I hear and feel a subtle "Clunk" as soon as the gears engage. I replaced the transmission oil with a 75W synthetic oil when I first got the car, but only started to notice this about a month after I got it. Also engaging first gear when the engine is still cool is sometimes difficult; however I can't hear any grinding sounds. Can you guys please help me address this issue. What's the easiest fix? Thanks in advance. -Paul
  2. Thanks guys. Those instructions came pretty handy. I managed to replace the plugs yesterday. I don't think I ever want to replace those again!! Everything is so tight, you can't get to anything. I won't say how long it took though, other's may get discouraged if they ever want to try to do it themselves.
  3. Hey guys...I just bought a 2003 IS300 about a month ago and been working on a tune up. I managed to change all the fluids so far except the brake fluid which I plan to do this weekend. I feel embarrased asking this question, but how can I access the spark plugs, ie. how do I replace them? I can't see any high tension leads or any ignition coil packs. Can someone please advise me on how to replace the plugs and what the recommended torque values are. Thanks in advance. -Paul
