Hi I have just purchased the Extended Warranty from Lexus, $2000 AUD, I bit the bullet, as the service guy said if your mirrors stop working thats a $$$ right there, and cost is about $1600 AUD per side for example. By the way I have just had the Right Shock replaced ( Under Warranty ) and ball Joints were covered as well, so I reakon Im getting my moneys worth. my 2 cents

Hi All, I have an 05 IS200, it had its 80 000km service done 1 Year ago, and the car sticker says Service due at 90 000km or 19/09/2009 but our car has only done 3000 km since last service. Do I take it in for a service at 83000km or wait another 6-7 months untill I hit 90 000km? To put a spanner in the works, the warranty runs out on this date as well, and was thinking of taking it in for a end of warranty check up?? Any Opinons anyone on what I should do? Anyone had an end of Warranty check up, and is it worth it? Thanks Fi

Hi Everyone, Im a new member from Australia, and Im happy to be a member of the forum, So gidday! Question: I have a 2005 IS200 80 000km with 4 Months factory Warranty left untill Sept, I have spoken to Lexus and they said I can extend the factory warranty for an extra 3 years/150000km if I do it before Sept and Pay $2000 AUD/1000 Pounds. Do you think I would need to do this, considering the vehicles had all its servicing done on time and that Lexus is ultra reliable etc etc. Your thoughts would be appreciated, Im not sure if this model had any problems, cant seem to find any!lol Cheers Andre
