  1. The normal problem is black and "leaky" looking. Mine is like this, but does look a bit better on a hot day (we had one last month...) Completely blank could be a bad connection, it would need taken out and resoldered to check this. Aren't they brilliant cars, still so chuffed to have mine Cheers! I'll give that a go (probably later than sooner). I'm thinking of upgrading the radio, might be good to do it all at once. Upon further inspection, I think mine is shot as well. I know the 1995 has a different look, but is there any chance a 1995 unit would fit into a 1994? I have sourced a 95 that works. Cheers,Glen

  3. Hi All, I have recently joined the ranks of Lexus owners. A '94 ls400. I'm tickled pink and love the thing to bits. A couple of bits and bobs to sort but still in love with it. I've read through all the comments on climate control display and wondering if I have the same issue. I don't have a black screen, but it's blank. One particularly hot day when I got in the screen was working perfectly but very dim. I pushed on the screen (as you do) and it got brighter. The next day it was blank again, I pushed on the screen and it worked again (but only if I held my finger on it - this is a very difficult way to drive!) Is my screen toast? or, might it be something different? Sorry if I'm dragging up old stuff here. Cheers for any help, Glen
