Hi just am update to my first post i now have checked the suspension and found that all the front end seems ok but the rear upper control arms are worn in the ball joints and i have the odd scabby brake pipe and a slight leak on the exhaust gasket where the exhaust joins the bottom of the cat on the ps side, i have already sourced and fitted a new ac control panel and a stereo and made up a cable to mute it automatically when i fit my phone kit in, and had the front and rear bumpers off to have them painted up to make them nice and shiny again, all i need now then is a bit more time and some rear arms if any one knows where is good to source them from thanks Eric yib7065

Hi to everyone i have now done some sorting of my own and have sorted the ac panel and sorted my stereo but would still like to try and have a second remote key for the car if anybody can help, 1 to find where to buy and 2 how to have it coded to the car, thanks for any help you can provide Eric

Hi i am looking for some help about the genuine car stereo thats fitted to my ls400 94, i need to remove it to access the dreaded ac panel thats black but dont know if their is a code on the stereo, which when i pull it out will lock it up, as the car is very second hand and there are no code cards with it, also is it possible to get another remote key coded to lock and unlock the car i have one that is working with a single button on the side but the other is just a plain key, as i have heard that a new one from Lexus will be the price of my car almost, cheers for any help that you can give Eric

Hi thanks for the post i havent had the car on the lift so to speak but when i drove it on the main roads it was ok until i hit a dirt track and something is knocking round the front, as for the panel i would like to sort it myself as i have electronic engineering and am a maintenance guy spark by trade so get to have my hands on anything and everything, also are there other ls owners here selling parts as i could do with a towbar, not for anything serious but better than rotten gras in the boot of the car, thanks again Eric, by the way i still have my celica tucked away and have quite a few of the toyota manuals for older corollas and celicas too if any one needs mech or elec info

Hi just purchased a 94 LS400 and have the usual problems and need help, the problems are the ac lcd panel if anybody can direct me to a source for the replacement lcd part i would be very grateful and also any advice on the suspension upper arms and lower arms as well as any other things a green horn needs to know i do mechanic quite a bit and have always been a hardcore toyota fan and always aspired to own a lexus someday but want to get down and dirty, and tidy the motor up and have a smooth cruise thanks for the help and any hints or tips i need to know, cheers Eric
