  1. Hey you guys, I wanted to ask if the cat nearest to the muffler is necessary? The car comes with 3 of them due to smog. Have you guys done any testing with or without this cat? Also, I would like to make a straight pipe all the way through and wanted to know what size pipe would be best for a non turbo car? Thanks Mark
  2. As much as I would like a supercharger for this motor I dont think the wife would allow it...SO in your opinion what trust exhaust would be best if im not getting a turbo for it? I looked up on a web site by the way and it had that test 1 exhaust for like 350, I'm sure its not the same one as yours...I would love your input on which would be best...I want something with good sound and good performance but not overwhelming on the sound..Also how do you feel about the catalytic converter thats towards the exhaust, any reason for keeping this one? I know the car has 3 of them, why is this, would losing 1 of thenm hurt the car at all? I also would like to redo the entire exhaust, what size piping should i get if im not going to go turbo? Thanks for all your help, cant wait to hear from you....Mark
  3. First of all if it doesnt fit the IS300 then it will do me no good...Also I looked it up and they sale for $350 brand new so i dont know where your coming up with that price but thanks anyways...Anyone else out there possibly selling and exhoust at a resonalbe price that will fit the IS300??? Thanks Mark
  4. Hi there, I have never heard of the trust power extreme, was it made for lexus? Also what kind of sound and performance does it make for your car? I am in the states by the way, California to be exact, and what are you willing to take for it? Thanks..Mark
  5. Hey everyone, thanks for your responses it's greatly appreciated..I have looked at the HKS exhausts and they do look good but can get expensive..Do any of you know the differences in performance from lets say an exhaust that is $50-100 compared to one of the HKS? Is there any kind of graph out there that shows the differences of exhausts and performances comparism of our cars? I think its weird that 2 exhaust that look the same and are maybe jsut a tad different shouldnt be $500-800 more than another? Do you see where I'm coming from? Well anyhow, your input would be nice, talk toy ou all soon......Mark
  6. Getting the gold member discount is worthless, the little you save is nothing compared to the deal you can save on Ebay....People on Ebay sell them by $250 less then they are at the dealers who sell these exhausts...I would like to hear from any of you of any quick ways for better performance is possible, please let me know....mark
  7. I dont see how being a gold member would get me deals at wholesale.. Do you know of any other exhausts that are available that do well with the IS300? Also does anyone know of something affordable that can help my car alot performance wise? Please let me know I would love to hear about it...Thanks Mark
  8. Can anyone tell me what the best exhaust is for my Lexus IS300 and gives out the most performance? If you do, do you know where I can find it and how much it costs? Thanks so much, Mark
  9. Hi everyone, I recently purchased a chip for my lexus IS300 but cant seem to find the air intake sensor that its supposed to go into. The chip is a U<--shaped wire that has at tha arch of it a little chip on it. Im supposed to unclip the sensor and stick the wires in and then tape it in place so that it doesnt fall out...Can anyone help me to figure out how find the air intake sensor so that I can install this...Thanks everybody, Mark
