  1. <--I like white wheels on a red lexus with red calipers and white decals lol. Suprisingly black calipers with white decals are nice too.

Also noticed, i have a 51 plate and i don't have any rear mud guards, did yours come with them or did you attached them yourself?

where on there when i bought it :winky: hasnt seen many others with them on, they are very effective too

  2. the car is not lowered yet so i need to decide what set up im going to go for to create this stance first then ill decide on the wheels, i can see me staying with silver the more i look as it as i just think it creates/keeps the clean OEM look.

most of the wheels are ok i just have the dreaded lexus alloy corrosion/flaking in places and im abit of a perfectionist.

cheers lexynik, only panel i think that has been sprayed is the passenger front wing tbh, but i cant see my gettin that done in the future along with the front bumper

  3. I've not seen the standard 5 spokes in anthracite on a red IS, but I have seen the later 11 spokes in anthracite on a red one and I think the colour suits it much better. Only thing though is I think it all works a lot better if you also have the darker headlights and foglights as well (if you don't already)

yeah i dont really wanna go down that route of spendin loads on headlights and fogs tbh, and links or prices on headlights and fogs?

  4. exactly as title, i need a comparison, as i took my wheels off the other day and i can wiggle my discs and there looks to be 2 screws missin on both sides

If you look at the pads and disc tutorial in my signature you should see some pics (GS and IS setup is the same on the front). There are no screws to hold the discs to the hubs, the wheel clamps them up tight.

cheers mate seens such a wierd set up, bein able to wiggly the discs just doesnt seem right even if the wheels do clamp them, madness

  5. hello all-having read all the recent discussions regarding the best cleaners etc and inspired by all the people doing spring cleans on their cars in this lovely spring weather i got round to giving my car its first going over since i got it - i clayed it first with bilt hamber then washed it again and went a bit meguires mad in halfords on the three for the price of two 3 stage treatment - scratch remover(which was incredible)-polish-again lovely and the gf interrupted me for chauffer duties so i didnt get to number 3 final polish - the results quite frankly are astounding to me- i never realised how much flake is in the metallic green cars-wow does it sparkle and shine now in the sunlight- i didnt do before and after fotos as tbh i wasnt expecting the results i got but i will do it all over again from top to toe and take some pictures - i was an autoglym man before today but i have to say i am a meguires convert now - highly recommended for metallic green lexus owners

wait until you start using other products like poorboys and dodo juice if youve been impressed with megs! :winky:
