    Hi all.. New Alternator fitted and problem solved...cost of Alternator £133... Fitting £84..... Job done. Also new steering pump fitted......Cost ...Pump.Approx £150 Fitting £190.....Had my bumps felt I think........... Anyway again job done Thanks to you all for your help as usual...a big special thank you to you all............ Roy.

    Hello.... I have checked with another volt meter, but the readings are approx the same, not much above 12 volts... Hope this helps................. Thank you.

    Hi all ...The battery does not go flat as I have one of those chargers that you can leave on charge all the time...... I will try what you suggest.. Thank you.

    Hello again... My alternator on tick over is showing approx 12 volts at the battery... On reving the engine the reading does not go up very much....... I presume that my Alternator is on its way out, unless im informed different by you guys................As usual any advice would help me and if it is the alterntor, anyone got one for sale......................Cheers again Roy.
