  2. I just had the very same problem with my is200s. I had the loom behind the dash but nothing the other end to plug into the seats to provide power for the heat. In the end I spliced into the red/blue wire on each switch and fed it straight to the red/blue on the seats.

Hope this solves your problem so you can enjoy a warm back side!

  3. Hi everyone,

Im in the process of fitting leather heated seats and have got everything working apart from the heat, as I dont know what wires do what.

Ive got the looms and switches plugged in but I cannot locate the other end of the wires to connect to my seat. There is a red and blue wire free on my seat and there is a red and blue coming out of my switch. Should I connect the two?

    Many thanks.

  4. I've got the wiring loom at the heated switch in the dash but i cannot find the other end under the seat. I've got an s model. Can I simply connect the red & black wire coming out of the switch to the red & black under my seat? Everything else is wired and working except for the heated elements.

    Thank for any advice folks.

  5. I replaced mine with a sony unit, check out this link as it will have everything you'll need to know about fitting it or another sat nav.

Hi, thanks. Was your housing the 5.4" or the 7", and if it was the 7" what model sony did you use? I'm a real noob at modding so am looking for a sat nav that will fit into the 7" frame without further adjustments.

It is 5.4". I used the sony nav-u93 which measures in at 4.8" but im sure people have found a way to fit it into the 7" housing or on the other hand perhaps you will be better off with this- https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=6389&ra=true

The only downside is that it is a lot more expensive. Its your choice!

  6. Hi,

When i am driving my car esp on the motor way inside the car it is noisey like a window is open slightly

I dont think its been there since ive brought it but my mate thinks it has been

is there any way i can figure out where it is coming from - sounds louder when sitting in the back but i cant work out where or how is it happeneing

I was hit on the back about a year ago and it was repaired by the other persons insurance company and im thinking that could be the reason - I have been sugested to buy sound proofing sticky pads and line them around the boot area but that isnt cheap and what if it isnt the right area?

Has anyone come across this by any chance? Is the car quiet for everyone else dont have another is200 to sit in to compare it to.

Dose anyone near woking, surrey want to go for a drive and have a listen by any chance?

Check you are not missing the strips of plastic that run down the side of the roof, I was on my lexus and I didnt notice until one day i sat in the back!
