As you can see by the title I am a newbie, this is my first post. Anyway I am from New Zealand. I was unable to sign up as a member to the AU/NZ Lexus club comp wouldn’t let me.
I own a Silver 2000 IS 200 (Auto). So far I have tinted the windows, Put some 18" rims on it and installed a new head unit sub and an amp. I am planning to lower it when I can also. What I do need help with though is that I plan to convert it to a manual and make it turbo. I have been reading up on it but to be honest I am not the greatest when it comes to cars.
Is is easy enough to convert it to a manual? And does it make sense to do this at the same time as putting the turbo in? Of course I want the car to be manual before I put a turbo in. Any idea of what this will cost and anybody know of anyone that would do this work in Wellington New Zealand?
