i can't complain i got both upper arms for 199.00 at arnott industries 214.00 with tax and shipping and my mechanic did it for 100.00 bucks... 314.00 total i was told it would upwards of 1000.00 for the parts and labor. so im as happy as can be how the hell does arnott sell their products so cheap they are a godsend

im getting my upper control arms and ball joints ( all one unit ) done today by a mechanic does anybody have an idea how long this job should take i want to make sure i dont get taken to the bank on this repair he quoted me between 150.00 & 200.00 i supplied the parts.

my driver side door handle had a crack in it and after continued use it's now split in half i hate getting in my car its a pain in the *****. lexus want's 209.00 for the part my question is can i swap in a handle from a toyota corrola or another popular toyota car.....thanks

yesterday i got my p/s assembely valve replaced and a 120 v buss fuse for the alternator now my airbag light is on my mechanic said he does not know why this happened any ideas.

i own a 94 ls400 i absolutly love this car however i cannot believe that so many people have the same problems and lexus never did anthing to fix them 1. the cluster panel flickers on and off in cold weather 2. the lcd clock and temp died out 3. the p.s assembly valve dies and you lose p/s fluid and have smoke coming out the tailpipe. i have read post after post of these things happening and lexus didn't recall or fix these problems.

tigerfish, thanks i printed out the info off the site you recommended i have a 1pm appointment with my mechanic today feels good to go in there armed with some good info.

im putting in p/s fluid twice a day and now there is a lot of white smoke coming out of the tailpipe. i know its going to be expensive to fix so i want to know what it is when i bring it to my mechanic. so far i have heard it could be the ps valve assembley pressure switch. my mechanic thinks it the steering rack does that sound right? i know nothing about this stuff and do not want to get taken to the cleaners on this repair.

when it is cold and it gets cold in ma, my lexus does some weird stuff. first off the drivers side door will not shut if not that then the car will not go into drive from park and lastly the panel goes completly black.. now i have never had all of these problems happen at once but they do happen individualy. once the car is driven for a while the panel lights up other wise i let it idle with the heat on and after a few minutes the door will close and the car will go into drive....weird

need tan backseat for my lexus ls400 my 2 dogs have destroyed the bench seat i know the seat can be pulled right out and a new put back in very simple. my problem is finding one i have looked online and everywhere....no luck the car is in great shape except for that eye sore.
