Hi guys, on my IS200 Sport the lights behind 2 of the 3 dials have gone on a/c control unit. I know from this previous post that I need a T5 bulb or led (cant remember which one it is) Tried checking ToyoDIY but it isn't clear the part number I require. Lexus Leicester couldn't determine part number and wanted to see the old bulb (as they had one of each bulb type in stock) prior ordering new ones. I dont want to take unit apart just to show take out a bulb for them to re-order and do it again on installation! I want to keep it standard.. can anyone help?

looking good mate. i will be picking my 1st IS on thurs, my to-do list is exactly the same as yours! did you buy a specific HID kit for IS200? (D2R) or just a generic HB4 one? If Im honest it was a generic HB4 one my mate managed to pick up from Luton, he knows a stockist there and got them while going to get some for an A4 he was working on. Used the ones recommended by seller and its worked a treat.

Hi guys, 1 month after getting the car here are some snaps of it.. its an IS200 Sport Navigator. Amendments I have made since getting it are: 4 Tyres (Uniroyal Rainsport 2's) New Sports Grille 6000k HID Lights Want to give it a good polish soon and refurb the alloys in the next couple of months. Hi Felix I got some Uniroyal Rainsport 2's as recommended by a friend and the place I ended up getting tires from. Not had car too long, it had 2 Rainsport 1's on the back and 2 Budgets on the front, the drive was quite noisy. Gettin all 4 done made a massive difference and ended up costing me £79 per tyre. Grip is awesome and the tread pattern is similar to the Goodyear F1 Eagles but only 75% of the price.. Jay

Hi guys, A couple of my LEDs behind the left and centre dial (fan type and temperature dial) have blown. I want to attempt replacing these myself but am yet to find a instructions / guide on the forums showing steps required. I have found this document by Hando a useful starting point for disconnecting the sat nav device. Can anyone point me in the right direction or provide link if already covered on the forums? I know I will need the T5 bulbs from a previous post. I just want to keep it simple and replace them with the same colour. Thanks, Jay

Hi everyone, Purchased my 1st IS200 day before Valentines (got to spend it with my baby lol). Its a 51 Plate 2001 Blue IS200 Sport Navigator. 74k on the clock in pretty good nick, as I wanted one that was clean as possible inside. As trivial as it sounds I love the spoiler on the sport which sold me over along with the Limited Slip Differential :) and black suede / leather interior. In the 2 weeks I have had it managed to change all 4 tyres (got uniroyal rainsport 2's on - recommended) / Bosch wipers / tracking done / changed headlights to 6000k HIDS. Got the K&N Air Filter arriving tomorrow. Call me nuts but 1st time I drove the Lexus was after purchasing it.. and boy I didn't regret it! I hope to have some photos up soon.. Projects in the pipeline are: Polish Original Stainless Steel Exhaust Tip as car was registered Oct 2001 Refurbish Alloys - not in terrible condition but laquer peeling so could do with it once weather improves a little - any midland recommendations most welcome I heard Perfection Alloys is quite good. Replace Domelight with LED Domelight Replace Front Personal Light with LED - any recommendations? Change bulb left hand side behind heater control unit (fan type and half of temperature is not illuminated) Finally these Forums have provided a wealth of knowledge so hope to return some of my findings / experiences with you guys Jay
