  1. Hi all, I finally succumbed to an LS 400 Mk IV a few weeks ago after I decided I could no longer face the losing battle of trying to keep my 15 yr old Ford Scorpio Cosworth going. Wow! I now have a (very nearly) 10 yr old car that looks, drives and feels like new. Everything works and so far I've just been blown away by the quality of absolutely everything on it. I still can't believe how quiet it is and it don't half shift too - but you know all of that :winky: Had to go a fair old way to pick it up. Thanks again to my mate Rodney for collecting me at Grantham station and driving me over to get it. And for explaining what some of the buttons do. And for noticing that I had one more button than he does :P I need to decide if it's worth going down the main dealer route for servicing (and getting the belts + water pump done some time in the next 10k miles). I have a good local garage who I trust but the service history is complete apart from a couple of years ago when the car didn't do many miles. I'll think about that and then ask the experts in the appropriate thread at some point. Dave
