I recently purchased a 10,000 mile is220.
The tickover is stable at c850 rpm but rises to 1200 rpm as soon as the heater fan is operated. However, this only happens when the car is stationary.
My local Lexus dealer says "they are all like it"
Could I get some real world feedback to confirm if this is the case.
If I "load" the electrical circuit with heated seats, cd player, heated windows etc but no fan the tickover remains at 850rpm so the increase experienced when using even the first fan setting cannot be load related.
Best wishes
Robert
