Just to confirm both points made above. I bought mine privately rang Lexus as regards any outstanding recall's. Also they have contacted me regards the valve spring recall.

Try this!! Sorry! In my haste to inform you of this, I did not read your original post fully. Whilst booking mine in for its 50k I mentiond the boot release problem and would they look at it. No problem came the reply I can sort that now!! Open your glove box and you will find a button on the right hand side, press it!! BINGO Hope this helps Pete

Oh bother, ignore my original post! I had my road tax renewal trough yesterday and thought whilst I had my log book out I would just check my VIN again. I must have misread it from under the windscreen bubble originally. So it's sit and wait like the rest of you.

Phew!! Just gingerly typed my VIN in on the Lexus website and it came back all clear. Mine is Gs450h SE-L on a 56 plate.

Have you tried moving the fader control towards the rear? I too was a little dishapointed with the bass depth untl I stumbled on this. I now have mine set at halfway into the rear segment and only need the Bass control set at half way to get a nice full sound.

Mine has the same problem. It's a 56 450h SE-L, the boot release didn't work when I went for a test drive but was fixed by the time I collected the car and now after 6 months or so, it has gone again. Hope someone can help us with this.
