Hello, did you ever get an answer to this problem? I have an ES300 '99 with 104k on it and the same happened to me. They say it is the charcoal canister valve. I am in the US so I do not know if it has the same name in the UK. I get it changed next week. I will let you know if it fixes the problem. Let me know if you got your issue resolved please. Our remote control door locks for our ES300 1999 Lexus no longer generate the single beep for lock or the double beep for unlock. Any ideas before we ask the Lexu$ dealer? Thanks

Hello, We also have a 1999 ES300 with 71,000 miles on it. The VSC light has come on about 3 different times after applying the brakes, once in snow, and the other times in panic stops. It stayed on until we turned off the car for about 5 minutes and restarted it. The last time it did occur, the check engine light also lighted. Has anyone had the same experience?
