Hi. I'm new to this board... first post. I have a 1991LS 400 with 200k miles. It has all the bells and whistles and I still LOVE it and hope to get 200k more out of it. I took it to Lexus recently bc some of my warning/indicator lights were coming on/staying on. They said it was the alternator. Lexus wanted $580 for the new one. Pep Boys has it for $200. Is there any need to have Lexus do it? Should this be done immediately or can I wait? Thanks!!
