Thanks for this - sounds good. But I can't get that far - it doesn't even recognise the phone. Do you know how to get it to recognise it?

Hi there - I'm new to the forum and would be very grateful for some bluetooth advice, please. We have a 2006 RX400h and I want to connect it up to my new HTC Desire phone. I did what it said in the manual but it never got past the pass-key screen, ie, never connected. What do you think? Am I doing something wrong? Is my phone too new for the car? I'm baffled.
