  1. They should be fine providing your rims are not more than 8.5J width or you will be stretching the tyres slightly. (Recommended rim width for 215 tyres is between 7J and 8.5J)

Speedometer will read 2.5% low so at 70mph you will be doing just over 68mph so no problem there

Cheers for that! There off a lexus soarer apparntly and 17inch so geuss they should be the same there OEM wheels. so geussing it should be okay?

  2. Okay cheers is it fairly straight forward then no specialist tools? Is it common for the water pump to go on these? had a noise around 1500-2000rpm like a rattle goes when reved but since looking into it its coming from the water pump and also sounds like the noise of some i have seen.

  3. Have started to notice this alot more recently. Around 1500-rpm up to about 2000rpm there is some kind of engine rattle, notice it alot more when cold as it is louder, but when warm it is still there but sounds quiter. The rest of the rev range sounds sweet with no noises

It is coming up to 120k so belts due but dosent sound like that?

Any ideas would really be good or anyone had anything similar?

    Cheers :)

  4. Had a look at the belts they dont seem to loose, forgot to metion as above the noise only happens when the car is moving, apart from the vibrating noise that can be heard with the boot down and when you rev up, as the revs come down around 2,000rpm it will vibrate a bit.

Any mroe help would be apriciated.

  5. Hi

this problem has gradualy got worse still no wiser to what it is, bascily ther is a squealing/squeaking kind of noise quite loud and high pitched and genreally tends to happen at low revs/ engine understrain/ and when cold, im pretty sure its coming from the rh drivers side of the car but not 100% sure.

Does anyone have any ideas atall of what it could be. The belts are coming up soon would this be the cause of the sound? The brakes ect all seem ok.

Any response would really be apriciated!

    Thankyou

  6. I'm a paint sprayer in Doncaster it depends on your colour also as it would need to be blended into the next panel but black or White would just need the single panel painting we do a full side for £200 cash or £80 a panel

Alot less than i thought! So i geuss around 100cash for the rear pannel is what i should be aiming to get?

  7. It does! how someone can find that funny is bizzare! Still kicking myself now!

Any ideas on prices buddy just very rougth im bristol area.

Without seeing it it's impossible to say. All I can say is my man does a complete panel i.e. a wing for £95 and it's a superb job.

I guess you need to shop around but a recommendation is alway better than an advert!

Wow that sounds cheap weres that based though? Im geussing will need the wing sprayed as a whole

  8. Owned my is200 for a few months now and love it! I really want to fit the sat nav screen from a navigator model, possibly fit with another aftermarket screen, but cant find a sat nav unit anywere! Were is the best place to look cant see many at breakers, and also when i do find one how much is a good price to pay???

    Regards

  9. Heard the noise several times to the point its geting anoying now, at low revs 2-3k a high pitched sqeaking kind of noise is coming from the drivers side or when the engine is under presure so going up the hill in a high gear it can also be heard? Just wanderd what the possibilitys are its a 2001 with 113k on it.

    Cheers
