I'm new at Lexus owners club.
My 2009 IS 220d has given me quite some problems by now and had a lot of trouble with the Lexus dealer to solve them.
Recently I've noticed a weird sound which is distinctly heard if giving throttle only while driving in 6th gear. So the sound is only heard if accelerating in 6th gear. And I'm not using the 6th gear below 75 mph/2000 rpm.
Although the sound is new (and was never present before) my Lexus dealer (as expected) said that this is perfectly normal.
Has anybody had the same problem? Do I have to worry about it or is it just one of many flaws of the car?
