If it was only a short while ago that Lexus realined your suspension it makes me wonder if the lower ball joint was already worn in which case they should have told you that to get the correct setting it should be replaced first. If it was ok at the time of setting then replacing the lower arm should not affect the settings.

My GS300 MK1 1994 has started to send an warning buzzer when the engine is turned off, it seems to be coming from the glovebox area and is two bleeps eight times then stops. If I turn the key to light up the dash and turn it off the alarm starts again. Hope someone can help me with this as it's getting rather annoying. Also should my indicators flash when arming/disarming the alarm the type on my car is armed when i lock the car with a side button on the ignition key. Just one more thing, there is a red plastic dome on top of the dash on the passenger side, can anyone tell me what this is.

I tried to reset my airbag light myself i followed the instructions to the letter the only thing that was differant was i used two peices of wire instead of the lexus setting plug. The reset plug is under the steering wheel it's white in color, when i tried it read the fault codes ok but to reset your timing has to be near perfect which mine was'nt so i got lexus to set it for me and whats more there was no charge. :)

:duh: I have got a noisy suspension problem that i need help with. What happens is when i go over bumps in the road i get a hollow clunk from the front of the car even if it`s a small bump or hole it still happens. Can anyone come up with any ideas on how to solve this.

I have just purchased my first Lexus which is a 1993 GS300,part exchanged my 98 Vauaxhall 2.5 cdi Omega for it. As you may work out for yourselves that also makes me a brand new member of the Lexus owners club, HELLO EVERYONE! Anyway can anyone tell me if it is normal for this car to have air in the fuel tank as when I stop to fill up pressureised air comes out as I release the fuel cap. Any suggestions would be most helpful. Thanks. Murbo1.
