Alright, i have similar problem. Smoke, but white like oil. This happens maybe once a week for 10 sec. I drive in the city 90% of total driving time. I do not have a particle filter. I haven't check the EGR valve yet. Car drives smooth and last weekend rich 200km/h. Any advice ?

Ok, this issue solved thanks to Matus. Now, how to adjust the headlights? :) Sorry for being a kid but seems like my lights are not strong enough driving at night.

Same thing on mine.

When i keep pressed the voice button on the wheel i hear a message like "to start voice recognition please press ignition button" or something. Can't remember exactly word by word what it says but the question is, how can i activate it?

Well, definitely turbocharger should last at least 100000 miles. And i know many people being very happy with Japanese cars due to their long lasting engines and parts. Most important in my opinion diesel cars must be kicked down more often than gas, especially when drive in the city. I found this a major fact protecting the turbo and injectors. SO don't kill it every day at 4500 rpm but is a must gear change near 3000 rpm. Don't worry about the fuel consumption, you waste more driving slowly and besides don't buy a Lexus if you are looking for low fuel consumption and cheap maintenance.

Yeah, you right it does have the puddle light under the mirror. And also is there any way to adjust the car features from a software e.g VAGCOM at Audi/VW ?

Since i am new here and fresh owner of is 220d i need to find out if Lexus offer this kind of feature. Mine is a Luxury line model and so far i didn't manage to find either it has or not this feature. Before i had a VW Golf V DSG and it does have the Coming Home feature and i really enjoy it.

Please advice if anyone has the feature and let me know how to activate it.

I was thinking is Webasto but you clear my mind. I have purchased the is already. So far i have drove for about 60 mins in total. Yes, auto is totally different than BMW or Audi. Something else...in my opinion better. I also added pics with car.

I have so many things to learn about this car. First i need to find an English manual. Auto was imported from the Netherlands and everything is in dutch.

i am new to this forum and i would like to ask for support and advice because i am only hours away of buying my first Lexus model is 220d. I attached two pics with engine of the car i am buying and same model, same year but engine looks a little different. The one i am buying is named "without". If you look at the one named "with" you will notice a part between the engine cover and Battery. Looks similar ABS box but i am 100% is not that. This part is missing on the picture named "without". I don't know what is this part and i am really curious what is it. Car is running in perfect condition. Is imported from The Netherlands, year 06/2007, km 114000, Luxury model.

I really appreciate your support on this matter.
