Just joined the forum so Hello to you all.
I've looked through as many of the VSC posts as possible but apologies if I'm duplicating.
Anyway, I've got a 07 220D with 48k miles and have owned it for a year or so. The engine management, traction control and check VSC come on intermittently and always have done. There's no power loss or other discernible change to the way it drives. Once left for a couple of hours it clears itself and stays off for weeks at a time. Lexus Derby say there is no fault code stored in the ECU and I haven't managed to get it to them whilst the fault was showing. Just before I bought it the EGR had been changed. I thought nothing of it until reading about the nightmares people have had with the same VSC message on their 220D's here. After driving a Saab 9-3 2.2TID for years I got use to ignoring warning lights!
Anyone had anything similar and whether I should be worried?
