  1. One small volunteer = doors open + battery on charge Just like to say thanks to all for helping
  2. Chris, good question why dont the keys work, for all i know in 9 years of owning the car this is the first time im trying to open the doors without using the fob, so between 9 years to present day the door lock has become faulty, but isnt that always the way.... you dont know its broken/faulty till you need to use it. PS One small volunteer is being drafted in tomorrow to open the door. :hocus-pokus:
  3. Thanks sparkystav, great help from all that posted a responce, all i need now is a willing volunteer, me thinks a bribe in form of chocolate might do the trick
  4. Thanks for the idea Rory, just had a look there seems to be a pouch / bag which opens inwards into the boot area, can this bag be removed, is that the armrest section?
  5. Yes i have tried both keys but no joy.
  6. Hi all, My car has been standing still for 3 days and i got a flat battery, noticed my phone charger is still plugged into the 12v socket, my keys are not opening the car (i have tried both keys and both fobs with new batteries installed) still no joy. Short of smaching the front windscreen, does anyone know how i cvan get in to release to bonnet catch to allow me to charge the battery. Any help would be appreciated. Sunny
  7. Hi Alistair,

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner, i purchased black in a flash 'trim wax' by turtle wax, absolutely brill, maybe not the first application but certainly the second done the job. Use has directed if you want shine then rub off immediately, if you want a dull but deep look leave on for 5 mins the buff like mad.

  8. Hi Sunny, did you make any progress with your trims!! My 2 front windows have degraded and need attention. I have contacted lexus and its silly money as usual!

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi all, After some help please What is the best method for preparing wheel rims ready for e-coat & powder,i have an oppotunity to take advantage of a great offer, the company i work for use a painting firm and they said they would paint my wheels for free, all i need to do is get them de-rubbered & prepped I have read some post saying use Nitromorse and elbow grease, but at my place of work we have a shot blaster (fine shot)i can use, would this wok? Thank for any help in advance Regards Sunny
  10. Hi all, After a bit of help, misses out this weekend some girly thing she's arranged, so i have time on my hands & would love to tackle the external black trim at the bottom of the each door glass, ideally best product to restore them & also is there a technique removing without damaging or distoring them. Any help would be much appreciated Sunny
