My car also dose this the garage have said its dry breaks due to the winter weather hmmm not so sure my self sounds more braket or mounting related

my car tends to miss or lose power intermittently when its going down hill and i m holding the speed or if i am slowly decelerating. this ends up feeling like i am on a rocking horse, do you think this could be turbo relaited. Joe

my box also makes a chattering whining noise they have re built it many times to try and fix it but then now say its normal but its not no way. Joe

i have a 220d sport and have come to hate it. i have just posted some of my problems in another thred. in short its noisy, the gearbox is rubbish, the engine is rubbish, shocking mpg for a diesle worse that the 250 hire car i got the last time they rebuilt the gear box (fourth time lucky) no broken again. why dont lexus do what any responcabile person would do take it round the back and shoot it :-)

My problems have been Full engine rebuild/decoke @ 54,000 Second engine rebuild (balancing rods, oil pump) sounded like a massy Ferguson Gear box rebuild/work x 4 (odd noise under power, ticking when at idle) Rocking feeling when holding speed on slight down hill (power loss) New rear door locking mechanism Rear ECU very bad mpg 35 junction to junciton on the m1 thease are just the main things -
Hi All I wanted to start this thred as i have had many many problems with my is220d sport. lexus insist that the car is sound and "no one has issues" something i cannot beleve. if you have had problems with your car can you post a breife run down in this section as i will use it as evidance that other drivers are having problems especialy if we are having the same ones.
