Hi im new to the site and brought a is200 a couple months ago, i got 2 keys with it 1 of which was the master key but it is now lost!!! i heard its very expensive to get a new key if you have lost the master keys so i was wondering if it was worth buying a second hand ecu unit and all the key barrels and keys off ebay and getting some1 to swap them over. Does anyone know if this is a good idea and would it save me money? and also is it just as simple as swapping the parts around or would the ecu have to be re programmed.
any advice would be much appreciated.
