  1. Has anyone got one of these fitted to their IS200? If so, Have you any pics of it fitted and how easy was it to fit? Thinking of putting one on as I think it looks a little bare without it, And don't want something like the TTE one, Want to keep it nice and subtle!

  4. Has just made his first yearly contribution to put a few more pot holes in the roads of the UK. The second one comes next month when they bend me over for the car!

  5. Probably be like the oil filter if there is one. A right pain to get to!
  6. Not too bad, Will get a set priced up and see when i can get them, Few other bits to sort first!
  7. How much are these, is it a big job to do or plug and play sort of thing? I may just leave them turned off if it works out too expensive!
  8. Just tried to see if they clicked slightly when they were on, and they do! Unsure of the problem now though!
  9. Sound, ill give that a try. Was told something about a faulty control unit, if this is the case i think i'll leave them or replace them with an ebay kit.
  10. Tried cleaning the sensors and nothing. Still had the same tones as described in the first post.
  11. They must be either a factory fit option or a dealer option. I have a manual with "lexus parking aid LPA400" Just noticed something about dirty sensors, will give them a wipe and go from there i think.
  12. Having some trouble with the reverse sensors on my car. When I put it in reverse, All i get is the audiable warning that the car is in reverse. I have checked that the switch in the boot is set to the on position. When I turned it to off there was a constant high pitched beep coming from the back of the car, But the tone didn't change when i reversed towards an object. Has anyone had this problem before and how should I go about solving it?
  13. I changed my policy halfway through. Was paying £600 on a 1.8 astra. The insurance wanted £300 extra to insure the lexus until october fully comp (Went from tpf&t to fully comp). Dreading the renewall coming through!
  14. Will give that a try. Adjusted the handbrake at the lever yesterday, can hear a pad catching now when i have released the hand brake. Going to go for the mintex, Heared a lot of good things about them.
  15. Liking the front bumper lip. Which one is it?
  16. Sweet! Will bid on it, but I have a feeling it will go for a fortune. Also contacted someone who is breaking one with one. Hopefully will end up with one for a good price.
  17. So its like finding a needle in a haystack! Didn't realise they where so hard to find!
  18. Thats what I like to hear. Had a Vauxhall Astra and i was undeer the bonnet most weekend! Just want something that only needs servicing once in a while and the basics doing. Got a bike to play with aswell!
  19. Where can I get one of these from? Been looking for a week and can only find the replacement covers, But need the whole thing. Think this is the only thing I am missing to make it more comfortable to drive!
  20. There is a lad who lives not too far from me who sells car key blanks and fob casings, He lists them on ebay for about a fiver. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-DENSO-VALEO-2-BUTTON-REMOTE-KEY-FOB-CASE-/300524787159?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item45f8ac55d7 Went around for one for a freind of a freind, If you message him he may have one of the 3 button ones.
  21. The car is in need of a new set of brake pads front and rear. Can get hold of a set of ferrodo pads, or mintex pads (Cant remember the types though) pretty cheap. WHich would be the best to go for? Also, I have noticed that when I release the handbrake, I can hear a squeeking coming from the rear of the car. Is this just a mechinism that has ran dry, Or is it a common fault?
  22. Joined up for some help and advice, As I do 90% of the work to my car (Saves money and at least you know what has been done and if its been done right!) So last week, I picked up a 2005 IS 200 sport, Heres a pic Hope to speak to you all soon!
