  1. you might want to go with a real hid conversion kit. it is relatively simple to install and costs about $300, or check ebay and they pop up for $100 every so often.
  2. the receiver part for the transmitter in the key is in the trunk. i am pretty sure that you have to go to the dealer to reprogram the keys. cost about $40-50 on average.
  3. if you have a ls 400, you need to take off the front air scoop in the front of the engine comp. next is the rubber flex that connects the mass air flow sensor to the intake. next remove the circle plastic container that contains the filter. undo the locking clips and the filter is right inside.
  4. try getting in touch with jimlwalker@sbcglobal.net this is a common problem on 90-94. my car has the same problem.
  5. i purchased a new key with built in transmitter on ebay for $40. just have to get it keyed for my car now. the fcc id is the same, so i just need to get it programed for my car next. i heard you don't need a new receiver as long as the key can be programmed for your car.
  6. i have a display from my 90 ls400 if you still need one. i made a custom radio install kit for an aftermarket radio for better sound.
