I have recently bought a 2007 model and it has relatively low millage at 50K. I have noticed when breaking and accelerating, and the hybrid motor kicks in and out, there is a high pitched electrical noise. It s not very loud and you have to tune our ears in to hear it, but once you have you become quite aware of it. Is this normal? My wife has a RX Hybrid and I don't notice a similar high pitched whine on her car. I don't want to take it back to the Lexus dealer for him to say its normal!

I've the 2007 model so just I just had a look at mine. Obviously put car in reverse and camera comes on. There is a little icon button in he bottom left hand corner (there is also one on the bottom right for parallel or kerb parking ) Press the screen button on the left and it will scroll through three different options, one has no lines, the others are with the lines in different patterns. I am trying to install DRL lights on my 2007 Gs450h and I was wondering if anyone has successfully installed them on this car. I am intending to install Ring Apollo which will fit nicely adjacent to the fog lights. These lights dim at night so I need to make three connections. 1.to earth- no problem. 2. to side lamps - not easy access, but can be done. 3 positive feed constant on. You would usually put this to the positive battery terminal, but I discovered the battery is in the boot. I understand that there is a positive battery post in the engine bay. Can I use this? If so where is it ? A picture would be great. Anyone help? Thanks
