  1. Hi there, I recently had the CD player changed to an aftermarket cd player, I got the harness from Amazon and now my clock light stays on all of the time so in turn drains the battery dead if I dont run for a day or two. I read on another post that I need to change two wires around on the harness cable but I tried this on the weekend and nothing seemed to happen. Does anyone have any more detail on how I can fix this please? Thanks Model is IS200 (2001)
  2. They have left me with one lead but don't think it's the one that came with head unit, meh.... Will wait for the bypass one, fit that then go from there I guess :s
  3. Just looked closer at my cd player and I have this one. http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/products/25/121/61/DEH-7300BT/index.html the connectors look different to that of the bypass lead, I guess I will need another lead to convert the bypass??? But which one :s
  4. Ok thanks guys, I'm going to get the lead from amazon as it's only £10. Looks the same and has the part number from the auto leads site. Hopefully I get on ok. Will update after!
  5. Ok but is the one I posted the right lead? And will it fit to any cd player? I have a pioneer one that I want to install. Thanks
  6. Hi All, Im a noob to the forum and have tried to search for an answer to my problem but it seems there a lots and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.... So, I had the standard error 1 fail on the standard lexus 6 disk changer so opted to get a new after market one, went to halford and paid for a pioneer one and them to fit it because I didnt want the hassle.... well it wasnt that simple, they ordered the double din and cables as they said were needed, when it came to fitting they said they ordered the wrong cables and needed to order another, that came and they connected it and nothing. This is where i guess the bypass cable comes in. What I want to know is which cable do I need to get, is it this one?My link Also if it is this lead, do I still need the other lead that halfords got for me or even another one? Any help would be great, thank you!!! :winky:
