  1. To get to any stuck cd's you just undo 2 small screws to take the top off B) I took mine apart today, studied the movement and could see that one cog was not turning :tsktsk: to get to this cog i would have to take the player to bits so now i need to have a think
  2. People, who are these people Are they twice as good cos they are twice as much
  3. Any reason why these are half the price of the NGK's Anyone actually had experience of these? :duh: My car didn't start as quick as i'm used to today, i hope it is the sparks I have read the forums, but no one seems to be talking about these
  4. taking apart is quite easy, i have done it already hoping to find a simple jammed CD :duh: I think there is a guide somewhere on the forum Just involves bolts and screws, staring at the top ones, with heated seats bit just sliding out B)
  5. I like the idea of an aftermarket, but the sat nav has to be bypassed too i will see how my diy goes
  6. I did press the load button , i even turned it on it is a top loader, but there are none about on ebay at the moment i am going to take it out over the weekend and have a play/shake/hit :winky:
  7. stereo is 13903 anyone managed to fix this? I've had a look inside but all looks ok to my untrained eye :tsktsk:
  8. So i recently bought an IS200 SE with sat nav. B) Today i tried to load a disc and it said 'wait disc 1' I have searched the forums and found how to take out stereo for an easy fix. This did not work, so what now :tsktsk: I don't want to put an aftermarket stereo in, and have found a few stereos on ebay, but would they all fit (2001)? Is there a problem cos of the sat nav If i get an aftermarket unit i believe i need some sort of byepass cable for stuff, although no one seems to make these any ideas
  9. Hello all, I have recently joined the Lexus world after being a BMW man I have a Lexus IS200 SE with sat nav. The remote, which sits in the centre console, is a little broken, i'll do my best to describe: The directional button in the middle has snapped, leaving a metal rod. :duh: It still works, and i don't need a new remote, but just want to fix it :) Is it possible just to get this button, the old one is beyond repair :(
