Well I bought my Lexus RX300 2003 second generation about 4 weeks ago. Going great, love the car, and then went to switch to CD the other day and have the dreaded Error 4 message. Tried all the tips to fix it - removing fuse, holding down the on button when starting up the car - but nothing works. Lexus delaer wants about £1,200 for a replacement unit which is a non starter, so I've decided to install a Dice ipod adapter!

There's some great pictoral how to's on the web taking you through the instalation process step by step, but I wanted to ask if anyone here has installed this system? The spec says it is for the RX from 2004 onward but is there any difference between my 2003 second gen and a 2004 second gen? Will it fit?
