Hi guys, I am a new Lexus owner. Just bought my 2006 220d about 7weeks ago. It's the first time I check the size of my tyre this morning. Strangely enough, I found out all my tyre size are 225/45 R17, since I read the driver handbook and thread on forum said it should have a narrower front tyre. I.e. 205/45 R17.
So my question is : Am I wrong to think that a 225mm tyre cannot be put on a 205mm alloy?? If so, does it indicated that my front alloy are not the original wheel??
