  1. Just had the ls600h tyres replace by a local garage purchased via Blackcircle tyres . Changed the Dunlops (Lexus wanted £288 each ) to Pirelli P zero`s at £139 each fitted. Quite a saving! There also going to replace disc`s and pads all round for £750inc Vat with geniune Lexus parts (i was there when he rang my local dealer whom quoted a £1000 at a service 2 weeks ago)
  2. I`ve had my LS600h since sept after a number of bmw 7 series and am now a lexus convert. Power delivery is as smooth as silk and more than enough. (Just found the power button and will leave most at the lights). Spend 80 miles a day on the motorway and it`s soooooo comfortable and the stereo is better than anything i`ve ever heard. Yep it must be the ls600.
  3. Hi, just had my 97 LS600h in for service at main stealer and requires 4 tyres relatively shortly . They quoted £288! each fitted. Been online and can get Falken 452`s for £148 each or £172.64 fitted by event tyres. The car is fitted with the TPMS and i wonder if the valves can be re used or need to be bought seperately? is it case of "plug and play" or does dealer need to reset after? Thanks
  4. Just purchased a 2008 ls600h . It has the rear seat entertainment system , however i cannot seem to get the wireless headphones to work with the rear dvd. I have changed the batteries in each headset and the light on the side comes on when they are switched on. The sound comes out of the normal speakers but not the headsets. Do you have to switch somehow. The manual does not help. thanks
  5. Many thanks for all your responses picking car on Monday. Regarding the maser it`s an awsome bit of kit . Ferrari derived 430 engine 400 bhp. 0-60 4.2 seconds . The sound is amazing . Oh and 15 to the gallon!
  6. Hi, Just paid my deposit on a 08 LS600h and p/ex my VW Phaeton . A bit of a petrol head (my other car a Maserati Spyder) and fancy a change frm the usual German choice as my daily runner for the 80 mile round work trip. Anyway perhaps the Lexus a bit of an impulse buy but that`s me. Anyway look forward to gleaning useful info from the forum and if anybody can shed light on useful tips, common issues or such like wilth 600h ownership i would pleased to hear.
