  1. I've had the same problem for over 6 months now and the cars still running OK. Lexus think it might be an electrical fault, but too expensive to fix. Got it through the MOT in Feb before the new legislation came in.
  2. I have a 1999 IS200 which 6 months ago developed the same problem. Took it to Lexus in Guildford and they couldn't suggest anything as the car was running perfectly apart from giving them loads of money to look into it. 6 months later and it's still running perfectly, but now I have a problem! MOT due in 30 days and new regulations out on Jan 1st 2012 means it will fail with those warning lights on! Can I disconnect them temporarily for the MOT?
  3. It's been running perfectly with the lights on for 2 weeks now? I think/hope it's just a technical hitch? Having said that it probably won't start tomorrow!!!!!
  4. I've had a IS-200SE since new in 1999 and have never had any problems with it until now. Last week the Traction Control Warning Light (bottom left) started flashing and the Engine warning light (top right) came on. I intitially thought it was an electrical fault so I disconnected the battery for a couple of hours and when reconnected it seemed to have cured it. 10 miles later they both came back on! I took it into Lexus in Guildford and they came up with a "T1349 VVti Bank 1" Code. The guy there said he's never seen that code before and that they'd reset the warning lights and to see if they came back on and then bring it back in. 10 miles later on they came on again! The car runs fine with no apparent fault? Anyone have any ideas?
