As much as the nostalgia appeal applies, I can't help but feel like rewatching the original series of Star Trek is a big let down compared to the scifi we saw in the golden age (Stargate SG-1, Farscape, Firefly)

curious - Privilege insurance quote arrived today - £332. Privilege quote according to the Meerkats - £270. I could say what I thought of that but .Anyone know anything about Esure ? The Meerkats are quoting £190 from them.

curious fact - the first red shirt to die on Star Trek was wearing ... a blue shirt. Yep - it feels very weird but I just started rewatching the original series, right from the beginning ...

currently having a fight with my iPhone. It had 4.1GB of "Other data" on it this morning, which has now grown to 4.5GB. And it's resisting all attempts to reclaim that data, despite even going as far as firing up my old laptop to see if a sync on that will deal with it.Sadly, iOS 7 isn't an option cos that would break the link to iTunes 10, which has features I would miss in 11 ...

Daft thought for today - i wish i'd noticed my watch needed a new battery the day i was near a jewellers, instead of noticing the day after. (Will likely be a job for friday pm)

Dammit - Steam are right now listing 2 games for 150% off, i.e. they will pay you to buy them. But ... "Sorry we couldn't add your item" appears when you try and add them to the cart.Oh well. It would have been nice to be paid £7 to add 2 games to the collection !
