I have a RX400h 2005, which due to the seal/grommet enclosing cabling to the battery section under the rear seat failing, has allowed water ingress and damage to the associated relays which I am informed today will cost me just under £1000 to repair. Has anyone else suffered with this problem? Am I being unreasonable to expect an item that effectively ensures the protection of £1000's of batteries and relays, which has not been touched or tampered with since manufacture to last considerably more than 6 years?
