Hi everyone. Im in need of a question answered please. My engine management light has come on permanant and im sure in going through more fuel as i drive it with the light on (i dont want to drive it incase i do more damage). My question is im looking at OBD2 Readers to verify the code and get the problem sorted but hear lies the problem. My Lexus IS200 is on a V REGISTERED 1999 & THE OBD2 readers are stateing that they work with vehicles 2001 and above so were can i find an OBD2 reader suitable for a 1999 vehicle. My IS has done 145 thousand miles so yet high mileage but im sure it has many more years in it but would like the above problem given some light. Many thanks. Tony

Hi folks HELP ME PLEASEEEEEEE. My question and problem is as follows. I have a V registered IS200 and when i bought it the key fob did not work and had to lock the doors by holding open the drivers side door handle and pressing door lock button on drivers side control. And now to top it off the blade has broken off the fob section of the key. I have had a look and it has been glued by the previous owner and on closer inspection there is no battery in the fob and also noticed that there are 3 micro buttons on the circut board but i only have 2 rubber buttons. Hello to each & every one of you Lexi owners (Alan Partrages words not mine lol) As of 3pm this morning i am the proud owner of a 1999 Blue IS200 & loveing every second of my ownership. I am from a wee fishing town on the east end of Bonnie Scotland that goes by the name of Arbroath (were the famious fish the Arbroath Smokie comes from). Anyhoo thats enough of me bleathering on. I look forward to picking peoples brains for info etc in regards to my IS200 & if there are any meetings in Scotland or further a field i look forward to putting faces to names on the site.
