Hi, has anyone else suffered a failure of the exhaust on a is250, my centre section is blowing due to corrosion, which for a stainless steel system seems very premature to me, i've spoken to my dealer, but as usual not their fault, "wear & Tear" ??? after 5years!! not damaged, or excessively high usage, but corrosion - NORMAL!!, typical response from the dealer, just like when i was going through 6 sets of tyres in the first 21/2 years, until they finally changed the wheels which would'nt maintian pressure, not their fault, or the shuddering on the steering when turning on full lock "normal", then recalled, or the softening of the brakes -normal- then recalled, or the high oil use between services, all normal. £1300 pound for a replacement centre section of my exhaust, because it is a dealer only part, thats because no independants will stock it, because there will be no demand on this model for the next 5-10years. (quickfit). I've tried contacting lexus gb, but can't get past the youth opportunities girl on the customer service desk, does anyone have any numbers for senior lexus service staff, i can try and persuade to assist in this matter
