  1. That would be great if you could mate would appreciate it! Just let me know how much :D
  2. Me too going to order them tomorrow hopefully! :D
  3. That looks spot on mate, happy either way mate. :) :) Definitely count me in on that  Looks gorgeous got that pic as my wallpaper at the moment actually haha
  4. Cheap or not they do have some decent reviews and even if i do have to replace them in a couple of years i still won't have spent as much as i would on a set of Eibachs lol. The Eibachs are definitely a more reputable brand which i would rather go and have used before. However they are over double the price and only offer a 30mm drop not 35mm. Which isn't what im looking for. I personally would like a 35 or 40 drop and as cheap as possible! I understand you think the Apex are crap just because they are cheap but its not your opinion of what you think they might be like i was after but opinions on springs that people have used and had experience with. If you know where i could find Eibachs with a 35mm drop or more that would be usefull.
  5. This is the only image ive got :(
  6. Just wondering if anyone knows where i can get one of these stickers... Been looking everywhere but can't seem to find one :(
  7. After looking around and reading reviews i think im going to have to go for the Apex springs, seem the best value for money and have better reviews than the rest of the 'budget' springs. Will probably order them on Friday and keep you all updated on progress/how the springs are!
  8. Wish i had a sport :( Only got the se. LSD would be fun. Are you lowering yours too Lewis? Ive decided on 35mm springs just trying to pick which ones. Found some Cobra 35mm springs too does anyone have any experience with these at all?
  9. I did think it might be an issue Lance its just if i should take the risk or not. I could live with a 35mm drop i guess just need to find some that would give me 35mm front and rear, unlike the tein.. Get paid on Friday so want to try and make a descision by then haha :D
  10. It does seem ridiculous that the tein ones only have a 23mm rear drop.. Otherwise i would probably go for the tein springs. How about the Ventura springs never heard of them before? There must be something else with a 40mm drop surely thats a decent make.
  11. Found some Apex springs which say they give a drop of 35mm all round for £100. Anyone has any experience with these before at all? I can't seem to find any decent 40mm drop springs which is a shame...
  12. Yeah i took a look at those! Also saw some cobra ones: http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pages/products/product_info.mhtml?product=254259 And these Apex ones: http://www.ctc-performance.co.uk/Parts-Lexus-Lexus-IS200-Suspension/IS200_Apex_Lowering_Springs/ But the apex ones are a little vague on how much the drop is? Used Eibach before but i really would prefer a 40mm drop if i could find some decent springs...
  13. Want to lower my is200 but can't decide on what springs? Don't really want to spend over 150 any recommendations? Thanks in advance!
  14. Now just need to spray the chrome inserts in the headlights and get a jap plate and i'll be happy with the front :D &maybe some sort of splitter?
  15. Swapped my old boring grill for a mesh sport grill. Just sprayed it and got it on looks great.
  16. Thanks for all the quick replies! I'l have to check into the leak situation as soon as i get a chance. Might just take the boot seal off anyway and reseal it just incase and try clean the drains out anyway.
  17. Hi everyone, New to the club, just got myself an is200 last week :D Very pleased with it so far and the club has been helpfull just reading buying guides and how to manuals etc. Has a few bruises and scrapes that need sorting but apart from that it seems pretty sound. The only problems ive found so far are the wheel well being full of water. I took the seals out and dried the boot out now but am i right in thinking this is a common problem with the sunroof drain being blocked? If so where about does the drain pass through the boot and does it just need a blast with an air hose through the drain? Also it seems to run quite hot heating up to just under half way up the temperature gauge quickly and staying there constantly? Is this normal for Is200's? I don't think ive heard the radiator fan come on at all yet either? Thanks in advance hope to hear back and become part of the club.
