Hi all
I'm looking to buy a sat nav screen for my is220d I don't currently have the sat nav unit that comes with Lexus but will it still work?
Any help would be brilliant
My engine warning light and notice of check VSC cam on a few days ago then went off. Now the car won't start at all! Has been juddering too, by judder I mean if you accelerate then take foot of pedal then straight back on it hard it judders. If you get what I mean lol
Hi all
I have an is220d and wondered if it's simple enough to buy a multimedia sat nav system to fit where my radio is?
Any ideas or advice please
Dave
Hi folks
Me again, I must have bought the worst Lexus in the world! 2008 is220d had new engine, cat, turbo etc now on acceleration not all the time but lose power then get a juddering, any ideas I thought maybe injectors?
Cheers all
Hi folks I have a 2008 is220d and had the 3 quarter engine replacement and a new particulate filter / cat fitted now when driving a get a noise similar to the noise of the air con fans blowing at around 2200 revs and an intermittent juddering
Any ideas?
Cheers Dave
Hi
Just a little tip to all new owners, call your local dealer and ask for a free health check, I did this with my 2008 is220 d. Found out I had an engine issue and also oil pump pressure problems.
Now I will praise Nottingham Lexus for finding this problem and replacing my engine (free) as it was covered by Lexus UK warranty.
The staff have been amazing!
Hope this helps
Cheers, Dave
Hi I also have a 2008 is220d and was having oil burning problem
Take it to your dealer immediately as its prob the same issue I had and I had a new engine fitted last week
The problem is the oil pump and head gasket and it's covered by Lexus UK.
Hope this helps
Dave
Hi I own a 2008 IS220 d, I'm looking at headlight upgrade to xenon bulbs?
Does anyone know if it's simply a bulb replacement or does it require other modification?
Many thanks
Dave
Hi I'm planning on adding some xenon bulbs to my IS220 d. Do I need to change anything or is is it simple bulb replacement? (yes I know it's not so simple) :-)
